Megan and Andrew - Edmonton, September 28th

I get to see a lot of beautiful places shooting weddings, it's such a perk of my job. The University of Alberta botanical gardens are without doubt one of my favourite wedding venues. The Aga Khan garden in particular! It honestly transports you to a different time and place.

Megan and Andrew are every bit as gorgeous as their surroundings. Only thing I wish I'd known going into this wedding is that Andrew has an identical twin! That definitely caused me some initial confusion and laughter as I started my day.

In true Alberta style, the day begun with mild temperatures and sunny skies. As soon as the ceremony was over Edmonton was hit was a hail storm and it was most certainly not warm!

This bridal party were the best, though. They carried on taking photos at the funicular and a spot of bothersome weather couldn't keep the smiles off their faces.

The reception was held at the beautiful Snow Valley Ski Club, one of my favourite venues in the city. The food was delicious, the speeches hilarious and heartfelt, the couple so truly in love. Do I not have the best job in the world?!

Congratulation Megan and Andrew, and thank you so much for choosing me to capture your special day!
